Luís Borba Rodrigues is the Managing Partner of CMS LBR, CMS ´associated firm in Angola.
With over 20 years of experience, Luís advises clients with a special focus on energy, commercial, corporate, banking and finance, real estate, public and foreign investment sectors.
Luís has extensive experience in assisting international clients with foreign investment processes, notably with the setting up of joint ventures and incorporation of companies. Luís has participated in and advised clients on several public tenders, privatization processes, processes for collection of public debt, public companies management, real estate matters, as well as on critical foreign exchange regulations. He has also been very active in advising on corporate dissolution and liquidation processes, day-to-day issues, the adoption of reorganization measures, as well as bankruptcy matters.
Advising on the legal regime applicable to the Energy industry – whether related to the petroleum or the renewables sector – has been at the core of Luís intervention.
